There are companies that focus all of their efforts on trying to win awards in order to attract new clients. We find that by focusing all of our time, attention and energy on our clients, we attract new awards.
In October 2013, Paradigm Norton became the inaugural winners of the Institute of Financial Planning’s (IFP) Accredited Financial Planning Award. We were thrilled to win this award, especially as it was bestowed upon us by our own professional body – the IFP. The award criteria focused on client care, innovation, culture, team and technical capacity and our capacity and ability to deliver excellent comprehensive financial planning.
Mike Wilsher, a long standing client of the firm talks candidly about what it means to be a client of an Accredited Financial Planning Firm (AFPF) and how we have really helped him focus on what is most important to him – his wife and his family and what he really wants out of life.
Clients Peter and Helen Wilde discuss the benefits of how our cash flow planning service has helped them better understand their likely medium term financial trajectory and how this dovetails with their passion for giving and philanthropy.
Steve Gazzard CEO of the Institute of Financial Planning (IFP) commented…
“The IFP launched the accredited financial planning firms register in 2011 to acknowledge and promote excellence at firm level. The firms on the register are the elite financial planning firms in the country and in 2013 the IFP launched the financial planning firm of the year award to recognise the best of the best. Firms were asked to submit a range of data so that their strategic and financial strength could be reviewed but just as importantly the judges were looking for the firm that had contributed the most to the profession over the previous 12 months. The criteria were based on innovation, customer service and education and we were very pleased to announce Paradigm Norton as the inaugural winners in October.”
“What stood out for all of the finalists, but for Paradigm Norton in particular, was that there was a direct correlation between their contribution to the profession, the quality of the business, and the focus on great customer outcomes. As a leading firm the continued efforts to improve and innovate was incredible and the culture of professional development and philanthropy was embedded across all staff.”
