Paradigm Norton recruits Graduate Financial Planners who will join an intimate yet dynamic financial planning team and will progress to become a Chartered and Certified Financial Planner ready to build their own client relationships.
We believe that exams are only a small part of the journey to becoming a financial planner and so from month one we aim to involve our graduate trainees in client meetings, organise for you to attend professional events and benefit from outside training.
Part of our commitment to you is to support your development by paying for exam entry and all revision material as well as providing a generous bonus scheme for exam passes. Your side of this agreement will be to work and study hard to navigate the exams and professional qualifications, this will inevitably require some weekend and evening study.
We grant one day of study leave a month and you will find your work colleagues, some of whom themselves will be studying, will be more than supportive.
Our programme is a five-year scheme from which you will emerge a Chartered and Certified Financial Planner as well as a Chartered Wealth Manager ready to lead client relationships.
What we look for
Above all else we need our candidates to be enthusiastic and keen to learn. We want you to be proactive and not afraid to innovate as well as have a proven record of working well in teams. Your written and verbal communication skills need to be top notch and we look for those with strong analytical skills who share our passion of ‘fanatical attention to detail’.
We also require all candidates to possess a 2:1 degree and 280 UCAS points as a minimum.
