Nathan joined Paradigm Norton in May 2021. His career in tax started with what was then the Inland Revenue followed by 13 years working in practice. Nathan was part of the team that facilitated the merger and eventually become HMRC. Nathan also co-wrote a report that formed the foundation of HMRC’s online filing policy.
In addition to tax, Nathan also spent seven years as a Special Police Constable. He also spent time working with teenagers from disadvantaged backgrounds, developing life skills and the ability to complete job applications and CVs. This also included planning charity events, taking part in sponsored walks and fundraising in aid of a local mental health charity and the Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
Outside of work
Away from the Desk Nathan enjoys playing Skittles, visiting friends and family, especially after the last 18 months. He enjoys walking, especially where there is spectacular scenery. Nathan loves history, especially visiting a castle or historical palace. He enjoys target shooting attaining the ‘6 penny’ shooting badge.
