Paradigm Norton for Charities
The Plan
Just as an individual might wish, for example, to be confident that they will be able to meet the costs of their children’s education, and their own income needs in retirement, so ought trustees to have the confidence of knowing that their charity can continue to serve its purpose for the foreseeable future.
Having clarified a charity’s current financial circumstances, we work with the trustees to enable us to fully understand their values, goals and objectives. We are then able to develop for them a ‘Charity Financial Planning Strategy’.
This document, taking account of anticipated inflows and outflows, and based on certain mutually agreed assumptions, demonstrates to trustees how the financial picture may appear 5,10,15 or more years from now, and it goes on to become the focus for discussion at future review meetings.
We believe that money is a means to an end, not an end in itself. Our priority is to ensure that a charity’s goals are reached using the resources at its disposal. Our investment strategy is designed to ensure that, from a financial perspective, these goals are achieved in the most efficient manner.
