in South West’ for New Firm
A Bristol firm of financial
planners has won a top business award. Paradigm Norton was created
in 2005 by the merger of the former Paradigm with Norton Partners.
Paradigm was formed by Barry Horner and William Pratt in 2001.
It
has clinched the New Model Adviser of the Year 2006 regional award
for the South West, which recognises excellence and first-class
service in financial advice and is run by Citywire, the pan-European
financial information group. Over 6,000 entrants took part nationally.
Barry Horner, managing director of Paradigm Norton, received the
award at a prestigious ceremony in London from event host, comedian
Tony Hawks, and Trevor Matthews, chief executive, life and pensions,
Standard Life, one of the sponsors.
Based in Bristol city centre and Tickenham, Paradigm Norton specialises
in wealth management as well as developing philanthropic giving
strategies for clients. The firm also provides bespoke financial
planning services for high net worth individuals.
The firm has 350 clients and advises clients with assets to invest
of in excess of £1m.
Clients are typically partners in the major Bristol and London
Law practices, management consultants, business owners planning
exit strategies and the CEO’s of large quoted companies.
