Corporate and Social Responsibility (CSR) is about how a company manages its business processes to produce an overall positive impact on society.

How does Paradigm Norton demonstrate CSR?

As Financial Planners we aim to bring order, discipline and accountability into the financial elements of the lives of our clients. The intention is that our advice will have a positive effect upon the lives of our clients, and that this, in turn, will influence others within their families and networks.
Our Giving and Philanthropy emphasis is designed to have a two-fold impact: firstly, the desire is to see clients gain fulfilment through the process of giving; and secondly, it results in support, in terms of time and money, being given to charitable causes, which is a societal benefit in itself.
The Paradigm Norton Trust is the vehicle via which we, as a firm, are able to contribute directly towards societal needs. A proportion of the profits of Paradigm Norton Financial Planning are donated to the trust, and staff members are also invited to contribute, which several have done, through initiatives such as the Bristol Half Marathon. It also enables our staff team to experience providing benefit to others by means of charitable giving.
We encourage our team to visit some of the local charities which we have supported. This engagement provides an added dimension to the giving process, and further equips team members as they deal with clients who have an interest in the area of giving and philanthropy.
Our Human Resources strategy declares an aim to see every team member developed to their full potential so that they are fulfilled in their work. This approach to the workplace demonstrates a core value which suggests that we are being good stewards of our people, and their talents.

The Directors believe that Paradigm Norton’s corporate values embody an implicit acceptance of the principles of CSR. As strategic decisions are taken about the future direction of the firm, the goal will be to continue to have a constructive, positive and lasting impact upon society.
